Dexter "Woody" Woodyard

Dexter "Woody" Woodyard, 58, passed away July 7, 2011, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center. He was born August 12, 1952, in Mount Ayr, IA, to Clifford and Dixie Woodyard. He worked at L&L Insulation for 33 years.
Dexter is survived by his wife, Andrea Dingeman, and her children, Tiffany and Mariah; his children, James (DeEnda) Woodyard and Adrena Woodyard; his sister, Linda (Dan) Cox; his brother, Rick (Chris) Woodyard; his nephews, Todd Cox and Rick Woodyard, Jr.; two grandsons; several stepchildren and step-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A funeral service will be held at 12 Noon, Monday, July 11, 2011, at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street, with burial following at Sunset Memorial Gardens. A visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until service time, on Monday.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the family in loving memory of Dexter.

Wow, it's like a whirlwind. I just found out a couple weeks ago and now you're gon. I'm so glad I made it up to see you and loved our visit. I could tell you were in pain and just wanted to sleep buy some of your last words to me were, keep smiling and keep your sense of humor, no matter what. I love you Woody, you're like a big bro to me. We've had some fun times together.
