System Wide Support Person - Fleet Manager

  • The primary goal of the Fleet Manager is to oversee and be personally responsible for the ongoing mechanical and physical care of Hamilton’s automobile fleet and facility.
  • The System Wide Support Person is the key support person who helps our professional staff needing assistance with daily operations and activities.
  • This is a full time position – 40 hours per week. The position has a predetermined and repeating schedule. The work week sometimes includes Saturday hours.
  • Pay is based on skills, ability, and performance.

Key Accountabilities

  1. Maintain all professional vehicles, cleaning them inside and out for all our uses; and to be accountable for flower deliveries to off site service venues and after service deliveries.
  2. Prepare the facility and grounds for our staff as well as the day's visitors, activities and services.
  3. Contribute to building a positive and competent workplace team.
  4. To maintain facilities and support other workers in our common goal of providing a facility and funeral home services that are above expectations.
  5. Complete maintenance tasks that prepare our facilities for our staff as well as for families and their friends.
  6. Provide support activities that assist with daily funeral home operations.
  7. Be responsible, reliable and honest.
  8. Be flexible to assist with temporary assignments at any of our facilities.

  3. Maintenance of Hamilton's vehicles and facilities: Complete the maintenance tasks that prepare our facilities for our staff as well as the day's visitors, activities and services.
  4. System Wide Support: Help other staff persons who need assistance with Hamilton's daily operations at any of our six funeral home locations.
