Suzette "Sue" A. Hartman

Suzette A. “Sue” Hartman, 72, passed away January 11, 2021. She was born on August 8, 1948 in Des Moines to Charles and Bernice (Kincaid) Young.

Sue loved camping, bowling, caring for her 4 legged friends, and rooting hard for her beloved Hawkeyes.

She is survived by her siblings, Michael (Marilyn) Young, Linda Young, Patty (Quint) Conlin, Jeffrey (Mary) Young, Doug (Pam) Young and John Young; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Winton “Spike” and her parents.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 15, 2021 at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th St. in Des Moines. Visitation will be one hour prior to services. Hawkeye apparel is encouraged. Sue will be laid to rest at Elm Grove Cemetery following the service.
