Donald H. Peterson

Donald Hill Peterson passed away November 22, 2020. Donald was born in St. Paul, MN to Lloyd and Phoebe Peterson on May 25, 1930. He is survived by 5 children, Bruce of Richmond, TX; Debi of Keller, TX; Jeff of Oakdale, MN; Mark of Oakdale, MN; Richard of Ft. Worth, TX; 10 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren; one sister, Bette Ziska of Woodbury, MN; and two nieces, Cathy Steele and Barb Golla. He is preceded in death by his parents; Margaret Ann Healy(wife) of MN; Deanna Wheatley(wife) of Des Moines, IA; one grandson and 2 great-grandchildren. Donald served in the US Navy during the Korean War. He was an accountant by profession but also did electrical work and played a variety of musical instruments. Donald will be laid to rest on December 18th at the Veterans Cemetery in Van Meter, Iowa at 11:00 AM.
