Roger Laverne Downing, 68, was born April 28, 1952 in Bloomfield, Iowa, the son of Ralph and Evelyn (Helmick) Downing. He passed away unexpectedly Saturday, July 25, 2020 at his home.

Roger is survived by his mother, Evelyn Downing; sister, Nancy Palmer; brother, Ron Downing; children, Marty Downing and Holly Downing; uncles and aunts, Marty and Sue Zylstra, Bill Stufflemean and Marilyn Downing; many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and many special friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Ralph Downing.

Cremation has occurred and no services are planned at this time. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family in loving memory of Roger.
