Lisa Robuck Russell

Lisa Sue Robuck Russell, age 57, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Sunday, May 31, 2020 after a brief battle with cancer.

Lisa was born October 31, 1962 in Des Moines, Iowa. She had many interests which included mushroom hunting, riding dirt bikes, and singing. She loved writing and shared her poetry and short stories with many.

She is survived by her husband, Ron Joelson; partner and lifelong friend, Keith Noe; daughter, Ashley Russell; and many other extended family and friends.

Lisa was preceded in death by her mother, Geraldine Harrison; maternal grandparents, Mary and George Harrison; paternal Grandmother Robuck; niece, Jackie; and parents-in-law, Ronald and Marquetta Joelson, and Jack and Marjory Noe.

A private funeral will be held on Friday, June 5, 2020 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home. Please reach out to the family directly for details. Casual dress is preferred, and to celebrate Lisa’s personality, the more Halloween-themed the better. There will be a huge celebration of her life for family and friends at a later date.
