Jack Richard, age 63, passed away on February 13, 2020 at Methodist Hospital after complications due to lung cancer. He was born the son of Harold and Irene Richard on April 23, 1956 in Des Moines, Iowa. Jack was united in marriage to Rhonda on July 16th, 1983.

Jack worked for Firestone for 25 years and was a member of USW Local 310. Some of his hobbies and interests included, hunting, fishing, golfing, antiques and listening to rock & roll music. He was an avid sports fan, he loved the New Orleans Saints, Fantasy football and watching NASCAR. Above everything, he loved spending time with his family and pets.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 36 years, Rhonda; sisters, Bonnie Campbell and Brenda (Ron) Milligan; many nieces and nephews; and his fur kids, Bandit, Isabella and Sybby.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jim Richard; brother-in-law, Ross Campbell; and nephew, Tommy Campbell.

Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Sunday, February 16, 2020, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m., Monday, February 17, 2020, at the funeral home, with burial to follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery.
