Clifford James Davis

Clifford Davis, age 66, passed away Thursday, January 16, 2020.

Clifford was born September 17, 1953 in Des Moines, Iowa. He was a United States Army Veteran serving in Viet Nam. Clifford worked for the City of Des Moines in the Streets Department. Clifford never met a stranger and was a man of many jokes and funny faces. He loved fishing, the St. Louis Cardinals and the Raiders football team. Most important, he loved being a father and papa.

Clifford is survived by his Daughters; Selena (Danny) Diggins and Angie Pilcher, grandchildren; Sean, Alexis, Dakata, Alyssa, Danny, Alivia, RJ and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother; Mary Lou, sister; Sharon and his grandparents; Marie and Clifford Davis.

Services are pending for burial of Clifford’s urn at Iowa Veterans Cemetery in Van Meter.
