Patti Chamberlain

Patti Lou Chamberlain was born to Betty Lou and George Thomas Munyon in Des Moines, Iowa on August 3, 1956. She passed away Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at the age of 63.

Patti met and married Mark in 1974. They had three children. December 17, 2019, they would have celebrated 45 years of marriage.

After starting her family, Patti received her GED. She also spent some time attending business college.

Patti had a versatile work history, including several years at Blue Cross/Blue Shield. She worked hard, while helping raise her three children.

In 2007, she began working as an at home day care provider for her granddaughter. In 2010, she welcomed another granddaughter that she also provided care for. She continued providing at home care for 12 years.

Patti loved family, especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and watching them grow. She enjoyed crafting, and making things for others.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Ron Munyon. Her survivors include her brother, George; sisters, Bev and Jerri; husband, Mark; daughters, Angel and Marsha; and son, Charles. She is also survived by her nine grandchildren.

There will be a celebration of life at Scotch Ridge Presbyterian Church, 13015 Scotch Ridge Road, Carlisle, IA 50047 on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. Please stay following the memorial service for a reception to be held in Patti’s honor.
