Yvette M. Polson, 94, passed away on November 16, 2019 in Des Moines. She was born April 19, 1925, in Malone, New York, the daughter of Thomas and Heneritta Tady.
Yvette will be remembered for her quick wit and sarcastic nature. She cherished her family and enjoyed traveling, especially to California and Las Vegas, long car rides, shopping at Younkers, and attending church at Mercy Hospital.
Yvette is survived by her children, Christine (Michael) Garvey, Ginger Casper, Pete (Marla) Polson, Lloyd Polson, and Sheila Allie; 14 grandchildren as well as several great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Heneritta; husband, Warren Polson; son, Thomas Polson; brother, Thomas Tady; and sons-in-law, George Casper and Larry Allie.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, November 22, 2019, at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery, 1 NE 60th Avenue in Des Moines.

Christ - I am so sad to hear this news. It has been years since I talked with her - but we always had a special bond. Will always remember her Christmas cards filled with confetti!
