Service Details
Isley Dell Ballentine, infant daughter of Shaylene Houston and Brennon Ballentine, died November 16, 2019 at Children’s Hospital in Omaha, NE. Services will be held Monday, November 25, 2019 at 12:00 p.m. with visitation prior from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Hamilton’s on Westown Parkway, 3601 Westown Parkway in West Des Moines, IA followed by burial at Glendale Cemetery in Des Moines.
Isley was born November 13, 2019. Despite the extreme odds against her, she fought a mighty fight for four days. Isley passed away peacefully in the loving arms of her father while listening to the comforting voice of her mother.
She is survived by her parents, Shaylene Houston and Brennon Ballentine; grandparents, David Ballentine, Deanna Walter, Gaylord Houston, and Sheryl Crossett; and uncles, Braxton and Dorian Ballentine, Breyer Houston, and Lasten Humphries.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Trisomy 18 Foundation or to the Carolyn Scott Rainbow House.

Brennen and Shaylenne, I know you are grieving for your angel, forty four years ago on Nov.25th, my angel Shandra Leigh went back to heaven to be with God. There is where my comfort and strength came from knowing after 3 days on earth she would be my angel in heaven.
