Naomi Robbins

Naomi Owania Jackson Robbins of Des Moines, Iowa departed this life for Eternity at The Taylor House Hospice Facility on June 6, 2019 at the age of 83.

She was born in Springfield, Illinois on December 19, 1935 to Earl Clifford Jackson and Victoria Ellen Ennis.

She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings: Ada Eileen, Helen Frances, Howard Truman (Buddy), Raggie Coretha and Sharon Kay. Also preceding her were stepfather, Arthur Packard and half-siblings, Anthony Eugene and Victoria Ellen.

She is survived by half-sisters Alice Faye and Theresa Ann.

Naomi married Harold Emory Robbins and to this union eight children were born.

Surviving are: Robert Dale Robbins, Denny Gayle Desalvo, Rocky Dean Robbins (Penni), Deana Gaye Robbins, Ryan Dane Robbins, Rayl Dave Robbins (Julie) and Darla Gean Saltzman (Vaughn).

One stillborn son, Rex Allen, preceded her in death.

Faithful to the end was her caregiver and friend of over 41 years, Wayne Evens. We will always be grateful for the sacrifices you made for our Mother.

Naomi also leaves behind a legacy of 27 grandchildren & 17 great grandchildren.

Naomi was cremated per her wishes and there was a private memorial held by the family.
