Kiliam Khanakhounkhong

Kiliam Khanakhounkhong, age 81, passed away Sunday, April 14, 2019 at his home in Des Moines. He was born March 15, 1938 in Laos.

Kiliam was a military commander while in Laos. He moved to the United States in 1986.

He is survived by his children, Vorivone, Chanthai, Phaysavanh and Denny; 10 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and brother, Quan Cong Ha.

Kiliam was preceded in death by his wife, Bouabane and son, Soukseumxay.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 20, 2019 at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue, Des Moines.
