Rose Marie Halterman passed away Monday, February 11, 2019, at Iowa Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines, at the age of 64.
Rose was born July 11, 1954 in Des Moines, IA to Kenneth and Dorothy Steffens. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She will forever be in our hearts and missed dearly by all who knew and loved her.
Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband, Dennis; children Roger (Mona) Thompson Jr., and Nicole (David) Meyers; grandchildren, Chastity Thompson, and Austin Meyers; her two brothers, Kenneth Steffens Jr. and Donald Steffens; as well as a host of extended loving family and friends.
Rose was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Steffens; mother, Dorothy Steffens; and her two sisters, Marilyn Lampman and Shirley Inman.
No formal services will be held. In lieu of flowers, the family is accepting donations to apply towards her medical expenses.

You were my very special, loving friend besides my s-i-l. We understood each other, sense of humor, etc. I don't think there will ever be another "you", we laughed together so much; I will miss you, Priss, so much! Find Bobby for me! Love
