Jasper Williams
November 12, 2008
Our beloved son and brother, Jasper D. Williams, 19, was taken from this world on November 12, 2008. We, along with Jasper’s extensive circle of family and friends, celebrate his life and mourn his death.
Jasper was born in Twin Falls, Idaho and as a young boy moved with his family to Iowa. He was raised and schooled primarily in the West Des Moines area. Jasper was a handsome young man with an irresistible smile, sparkling eyes and a playful spirit. He was also very intelligent, insightful and kind. The giving nature he displayed in life will carry on beyond death. We are and forever will be grateful that God chose us to be blessed as Jasper’s family.
Jasper is survived by his parents, Jeff and Peggy Williams of West Des Moines; brothers, Joshua Boyer, Jeffery Williams, Jason (Courtney) Williams and Jared Williams; maternal grandmother, Geneva Williams of West Des Moines; paternal great-grandmother, Lois Williams of Twin Falls, Idaho; two nieces, five nephews and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Services will be held at Hamilton’s on Westown Parkway, 3601 Westown Parkway, West Des Moines, Iowa. The visitation will be held on Friday, November 21, 2008 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2008 at 12:00 noon. Burial will be at Resthaven Cemetery in West Des Moines, Iowa. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.

I met Jasper when he was 14. Then when I was in rehab he showed up there (Cornertstone). He was so energetic and bubbly there. He kept everyone laughing all the time. Jasper always helped me feel better when I was upset. You are all in my prayers and I know that Jasper will be with you guys watching over you forever. I can only imagine how he would be trying to cheer you all up right now. I am so sorry for your loss.
