Doris Reierson

Doris Reierson, 83, passed away October 17, 2018 at Fleur Heights Center for Wellness and Rehabilitation.

Doris was born January 13, 1935 in Des Moines to James and Dorothy Comer. She graduated from Lincoln High School in 1952. Doris enjoyed crafting, craft shows, traveling, sewing, knitting, baking and playing wii bowling. She loved hosting gatherings and parties.

Doris is survived by her loving husband, Raymond; daughter, Terri (Mark) Rushing; step-children, Julie (Tim) Weida and Greg (Teri) Reierson; son-in-law, Brent Strom; grandchildren, Lindsay (Justin) Hunerdosse, Kayla (Michael) Wheeler, Zachary Rushing, Aurora Strom, Karenna Strom, Lorelei Strom and Josie Strom; great-grandchildren, Anna Wheeler, Luke and Jase Hunerdosse and one on the way. She was preceded in death by her children, Michael DeBolt and Kelli Strom; parents; and her brother, Jack Comer.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street.
