Donald E. Rumley

Donald E. Rumley passed away on September 5, 2018. He was born May 21, 1934 in Leon, Iowa, the son of Alta and Clifford Rumley. Don was cremated and no service is planned. Burial will be in Clarion, Iowa at a later date.

Don graduated from Leon High School in 1953. He was a Veteran of the Korean War and a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Clive.

Those left to cherish Don’s memory are his wife of 58 years, Judy; his children, Donnie Rumley, Dawn (Steve) Hutton, Larry (Joellen) Rumley, and Debbie (Brian) McCloy; his precious grandchildren, Jen and Jack Rumley, and Kennedy and Madison McCloy; brother, Kenny Bevard; and his close friends, Richard Baker and Clint McKim. Don was preceded in death by his father, Clifford; his mother and step-father, Alta and Clyde Bevard; his son, Darol Rumley; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
