Judith Moseley

Judith “Judy” Anne Moseley, 77, died Thursday, August 16, 2018 at Fountain West Health Center in West Des Moines. She was born August 19, 1940 to Lynn and Evelyn Moseley in Fort Dodge.

Judy graduated from North High School and earned her BA from Drake University. Throughout her life, Judy loved art, creativity, and was happiest when surrounded by these things. Throughout her career she worked in communications for various companies, retiring from Equitable Insurance in 1999.

Judy is survived by her children, Walter (Angela) Pirnot and Sarah Pirnot; grandchildren, Gavin Pirnot, Gillian Pirnot, and Tausha Vannatta; and sister, Sue (Don) Abel; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Evelyn Moseley on September 27, 2001; and Lynn Moseley on September 20, 2011.

Graveside services will be held at the Masonic Cemetery, 1550 48th St, Des Moines, IA, at 10:30 am on Saturday, August 25, 2018.

Memorials may be directed to ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) in loving memory of Judy.
