Judith McConnell

Judith K. McConnell, 74, passed away June 30, 2018. She was born in Des Moines on October 11, 1943, to Orville and Frances Nagle.

Judith was a member of New Testament Baptist Church in Des Moines. She enjoyed crosswords, watching t.v. and shopping. Above all else, she treasured time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Judith is survived by her daughter, Melinda (Jeff Garrison) McConnell; grandchildren, Jozey McCoy, Belinda McConnell, and Mark Garrison; sisters, Jackie (David) Thompson and Janet (Sam) Hobson; numerous nieces and nephews, as well as other loving relatives and many special friends.

Judith was preceded in death by her husband, Charles; sons, Marc McConnell and Brent McConnell; parents, Orville and Frances (Waldo) Nagle; brother, Larry Nagle and her infant granddaughter, Kendra McConnell.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 11, 2018, at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue in Des Moines. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 12th at Pine Hill Cemetery in Des Moines.
