Barbara Harris

Barbara Ann Harris, 77, passed away May 24, 2018, surrounded by her loving family. She was born October 23, 1940, in Des Moines, to Don and Dorothy Yates.

Barbara took great pride in her family and devoting herself as a homemaker. She was fondly known by friends and family as Bobbie Ann, but to her grandchildren she will always be Grandma Barbie. Barbara will forever be remembered for her unending love, “Love you more, more, more!”

Barbara is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Frank Lee Harris; children, Lisa (Ray) Stroud, Lorilee Harris Senf, Leann (Rick) Wisecup, Kathy (Greg) Harris, and Don Harris; grandchildren, Nicole (Kenny) Williamson, Missy Clarke (Paul Jurgensen), Leslie Stroud, Shannon Stroud, Doug Norris, Chad Norris, Jennifer (Rory) Russell, Dylan Wisecup, Beau (Becca) Wisecup, Jessica (Shawn) Walker, Ashlyn Grace Harris, Jules Harris, and Andrew Harris; great-grandchildren, Maddie, Christian, Samson, Caleigh, Daniel, Riley, Jagger, Madison, Aiden, Shondalyn, Dawson, Avery, Kaden, Makenna, Reid, Hudson, and Isabella; her brother, Dennis (Linda) Yates; as well as many nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Frankie Lee Harris, Jr.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Sunday, May 27, 2018, at Hamilton’s Altoona Funeral Home, 105 4th Street SW in Altoona. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.
