David Morris

David Morris, 60, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on May 16th 2018.

David was born November 20th, 1957 in Des Moines, IA, the son of Russell and Dixie Morris. He graduated with the class of 1976 from Des Moines Tech High. David was a proud US Army Veteran, a carpenter and worked many years as a warehouseman. David loved spending time with his family and kept busy with home projects.

David is proceeded in death by his parents Russell and Dixie Morris (Larry) and brother Leonard Morris.

He is survived by his loving wife, Kelly Morris. His children Michael (Dara), Danny (Courtney), his adoring grandchildren, Jaxon and Kolton. His siblings, Russell Jr (Anita), Debbie (Stewart) Cott, and Lily (Doug) Buchman. His nieces, Amy Morris and Cameo Cott, nephews Jeremy Morris, Carl and Charlie Stroud.

Services will be held Wednesday, May 23rd at 12:30pm, privately for family at the Veterans Cemetery in Van Meter. A memorial gathering and celebration of life will follow at the Morris home in Des Moines, where friends are welcome to join.
