Cathy Lamb

Cathy Lynn Lamb was born on December 27, 1948 in Des Moines Iowa to Robert and Betty Hegwood. She was employed at Don's Super Valu for many years and later in life at Kum & Go.
Cathy passed away peacefully Tuesday May 8, 2018 at Bishop Drumm Care Center in Johnston Iowa at the age of 69 with her two sons by her side.
She is survived by her sons James (Michelle) Lamb, Robert (Angel) Lamb; grandchildren Dylan, Jack, Dakota, Tedon; brother Mike Hegwood; sister Debbie Hegwood as well as other extended family and friends.
Cathy was preceded in death by her husband Donald Lamb; her parents; and brother Jeff Hegwood.
Cathy was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was the most loving and caring soul you could ever know. If you knew her then you loved her. She will be missed so much by so many.
There will be a memorial service at Iowa Veterans Cemetery on Monday, May 14, 2018 at 9:30 with a celebration of life following at her son Jim's house in Des Moines.
