Service Details

Josué, 20, passed away on April 27, 2018. He was born on February 17, 1998 to Josue Alonzo and Victoria (Samuel) Galindo. He was married to his wife, Yeimi (Flores) on March 18, 2018 and together they had a daughter, Esmeralda Layla, who is a year and a half old. Josué was also affectionately called Josuélito, Lito, and Josh.

Josué graduated from East High School in 2017. He was athletic and health conscious, spending lots of time lifting weights and working out. He spent his days working at Capital Express as a delivery driver. He worked hard to provide for his family and loved his role as a husband and father.

The most important thing in Josué’s life was his family. He was a great big brother, always encouraging and looking out for his siblings. He was also very proud of his and his family’s Mexican heritage. Josué was so loved by everyone around him. He was truly the heart of his family. His smile and outgoing nature made it easy for him to befriend anyone who came his way. He was surrounded by caring friends. All this charm made him quite a jokester. The people in his life often heard him laugh and exclaim, “I’m just messing with you!” Josué could make anyone’s day brighter and he enjoyed being around the many people who loved him so dearly.

Josue was preceded in death by his cousins Diamond Nicole Rios and Julian Rios. He is survived by his wife and daughter, parents, siblings Emily Alonzo, Anthony Alonzo, Yoseli Wilson, and William Wilson, as well as his grandparents Josefina Villasana, Ciriaco Alonzo, and Manuela Jalomo, along with many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 3rd from 5 to 8 pm at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street. A funeral service will also be held at Hamilton’s Funeral home at 11 am on Friday, May 4th.
