Charles H. Gordon, 72, passed away February 17, 2018 at Kavanagh House on 56th Street.
Charles was born March 30, 1945 in Des Moines to Howard and Helen (Stamper) Gordon. He graduated from Des Moines Tech in 1963 and worked as a printer for Meredith Burda, Inc. Charles never met a stranger and loved socializing with his friends and family.
Charles is survived by his daughters, Lori (Kevin) Clark and Lisa (Adam) Newman; grandchildren, Nick (Kate) Clark, Brooklynn (Keith) McCaughey, Iain and Owen Newman; great-granddaughter, Landri Lynn McCaughey; and his siblings, Larry Gordon, Sandi Smithhart and Steve (Barb) Gordon.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Betty Lou.
A private graveside service will be held at the Norwalk Cemetery.

I loved chuck he was my buddy. We had some really good times over the years and i am going to miss him so very much.He was very proud of his family and would talk about you often i am so sorry for your loss they sure dont make them like chuck anymore rip chuck u will b missed

Chuck was a very special man. He was so kind and thoughtful. He always made me think. I will miss him.
