Dorothy May Horn

Dorothy May (Stiles) Horn, daughter of John and Ollie Stiles, was born on July 18, 1933 in Des Moines, Iowa.

Dorothy was united in marriage to Ralph O. Horn on November 27, 1948.

Dorothy was a hard working woman, wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed gardening and working with ceramic, even winning ribbons at the Iowa State Fair.

Dorothy passed away February 12, 2018 at her home at the age of 84. She was preceded in death by her parents John and Ollie Stiles; husband Ralph O. Horn; daughter Vicki (Horn) Christensen; one sister Evelyn Dennis. Those left to cherish her memory, daughter Kathy (Horn) Young; son-in-law Scott Young; daughter Cindy (Horn) Rinehart; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and loving friends.

Burial of cremated remains will be held 11 a.m. Thursday April 5, 2018 at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery, 1 NE 60th Avenue, Des Moines.
