Stephen A. Foldes

Stephen Alexander Foldes, 60, passed away unexpectedly from heart failure on Wednesday, February 7, 2018. He was born October 9, 1957, in Des Moines, Iowa, to Miklos and Elizabeth Foldes. Stephen graduated from Lincoln High School, where he played football. He then entered the Air Force. He previously worked as the Director of Biomedical Services at Lutheran Hospital.

Stephen had a love of dogs and welcomed many rescue dogs into their home, most recently his best friend Bogey, his black lab/greyhound mix. He enjoyed watching all types of sports, cooking and grilling. He was a talented pool player and played on a pool league.

Stephen is survived by his wife of 29 years, Katherine; son, Brandon and his wife, Angela; grandchildren, Hayden and Brooks; mother, Elizabeth; and brothers, Mike (Debbie) and Tom (Mary). He was preceded in death by his father, Miklos.

There will be a private service celebrating Stephen’s life at a later date.
