Khoua Vivanh

Khoua Vivanh, 102, passed away Saturday, January 13, 2018, at his home in Des Moines surrounded by his family.

Khoua was born July 27, 1915, in Son La, Vietnam. He served in the Vietnam military. He then moved to Laos where he worked at an airport. Khoua immigrated to the United States where he retired. He loved spending time with his many grandchildren. Khoua was a member of SOTAF and Kadsan. He was a happy person who enjoyed exercise and martial arts.

He is survived by his wife, Noth Vivanh, five sons, five daughters, 42 grandchildren, and 71 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave, Des Moines, at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, January 18, 2018.
