Cory L. Channon

Cory L. Channon, 39, passed away tragically Tuesday, January 9, 2018.

Cory was born July 7, 1978, in Des Moines, Iowa. His greatest joy was his children and his family. He always made sure you knew you were loved. Cory was a prime example of overusing, but truly meaning the phrase, “I love you.” He enjoyed body building, physical fitness, and motorcycles.

Cory is survived by his wife, Angie; mother, Barb (Don); twin sister, Angela (Carlos); brother, Kevin (Jessica); children, Cory Jr., Lucas, Lillee and Kaeler; step-sons, Christian and Kaeden; uncle, Brian (Monica); nephews, Alex and Kevin, Jr.; Nieces, Ashlynn and Anna, aunts, uncles and extended family.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents; uncle, Mike; father, Randy.

The family will greet friends Sunday, January 21, 2018 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with the funeral service to follow at 2 p.m. at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street.
