Lori Thornton

Lori Jo Thornton, 36, passed away on Wednesday, August 9, 2017, at Mercy Hospice in Johnston.

Lori was born August 10, 1980, in Des Moines, Iowa, to Donald and Theresa Faber.

She is survived by her husband, Joel Thornton; son, Brian Faber; parents, Don and Theresa Faber; brother, Donny Faber; aunt, Kelly Hensley; uncles, John and Jason Worthington; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Morris and Laura Liggins and John and Joyce Worthington.

Visitation will be held from 5 – 8 p.m., Monday, August 14, 2017, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. Funeral service will be at 1 p.m., Tuesday, August 15, also at Hamilton’s, with burial at Laurel Hill Cemetery.
