Marlena Lowe

Marlena Mae Lowe, age 64, passed away peacefully Wednesday, July 19, 2017, at home surrounded by her family.

Marlena was born February 23, 1953, in Des Moines, Iowa, to Arlois and Leo Seaney. She loved spending time with her family and enjoyed camping, darts, and board games. In her younger years, she liked bowling and was a member of a bowling league.

She is survived by her sons, Robert Seaney, Matt (Samantha Osborne) Seaney, Chad (Nicole) Seaney, and James (Jaime) Seaney; grandchildren, Lucas, Leila, Lillian, Skylar, Dallys, Kayli, Chase, and Danté; brothers, Jerry (Debby) Seaney, Alonzo Seaney, and Ray Seaney; and other extended family and friends.

Marlena was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Lowe; siblings, Floyd Seaney, Mavis Woods, and William Seaney; parents, Arlois and Leo Seaney; and her best friend, Rosemary Easter.

There will be a celebration of life from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m., Saturday, July 22, 2017, at Miss V’s Honky Tonk, 1833 Hubbell Avenue, Des Moines.
