Patricia Ann Corsbie

Patricia A. Corsbie, 78, passed away on May 12, 2017, at Mercy Hospice in Johnston. She was born in Des Moines on June 19, 1938, the daughter of Jacob and Helene (Exline) Smedes.

Patricia was a member of Highland Park Christian Church and Professional Musicians and Entertainers Club of Iowa. She was a lifelong resident of Des Moines and worked in various places throughout her lifetime until retirement in 2005. Above all, Patricia enjoyed spending time with her family.

Patricia is survived by her daughters, Marcia Poli, Pamela Walton, and Linda O’Morrow; 5 grandchildren, Patrick Walton, Ian Walton, Brian Hatcher, Jimmy O’Morrow, and Krystal O’Morrow, and 3 great-grandchildren, Bailey Walton, Sloan Walton and Palmer Walton; and honorary grandson, Ronald Davis, III. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Corsbie.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 17, 2017, at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave., Des Moines, with burial to follow at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
