Jon T. Griffin

Jon T. Griffin, of Des Moines, passed away on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at Mercy Hospital following a brief illness. Jon Taylor was born on September 3, 1945 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota to Sara (Bozarth) and Willard Peterson. Jon enjoyed life to its fullest. He recently retired as an Attorney.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Corina; brother, Mark (LeAnn) Griffin; sister, Susan Griffin; nieces, Nikki and Davi Griffin; and numerous other loving family and special friends.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest at Woodlawn Cemetery in Sioux Falls, S.D.
