Todd R. Lindberg

Todd Roger Lindberg, 47, was born on May 3, 1969 to Eric and Janet (DeMoss) Lindberg in Knoxville, Iowa. Todd was an avid football player and wrestler for Knoxville Junior and Senior High School, until 1986 when his family moved to Altoona, Iowa. There he attended Southeast Polk High School where he was a start football player and top heavy weight wrestler in the district when he graduated in 1988.

On May 1st, 1993 he was united in marriage with Carrie Lester and they had two daughters Brandie and Marissa. As a child Todd loved to clog with the Wild Rose Cloggers and take family vacations to Colorado enjoying hiking and wildlife. The love of being outdoors carried through his adult life as he spent many hours fishing at his grandpa's pond.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Darrell and Lois Lindberg, and Doris DeMoss, and one grandson, Kian. He is survived by his daughters, Brandie (James) Madewell and Marissa Lindberg; grandchildren, Nevaeh, Liam, and Alainah; parents, Eric and Janet Lindberg; brother, Chris (Gina) Lindberg; sister, Melissa (Jim) Wegener; nieces, Ashley Fridley, Haley Lindberg, and Bella Wegener and nephew, Caleb Wegener; grandfather, Pete DeMoss; aunts, uncles and many cousins.

Brandie and Marissa would like to give a special thank you to Erica Sholley, Stephanie Gingerich, and Janet Pattee and the rest of the Manor Care staff for the excellent care provided to their father in his last months of life. We cannot thank you enough.

Respecting Todd's wishes he will be cremated with no funeral services and he will be laid to rest at his favorite place, his grandpa Pete's pond.
