Judy Ragan

Judy Ann Ragan, 73, passed away Saturday, January 14, 2017 at Iowa Methodist.

Judy was born January 15, 1943 in Des Moines to Leroy and Betty (Jones) Brown. She lived her entire life on Des Moines’ south side. Judy retired in 2005 from American Windows where she had worked for 40 years in telemarketing, 20 of which she supervised the department. She loved spending time with her family and enjoyed playing BINGO.

Judy is survived by her children, Betty Snyder, Donald Wingfield, Robert Wingfield, Howard (Carol Hope) Ragan, Diana Quijano, Kiara Olson, Michael Olson, Niqolus McConnell and Arianna Lafferty; 15 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; five brothers; two sisters; and a host of extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister.

The family will greet friends Thursday, January 19, 2017 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. with the funeral service to follow at 2 p.m. at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street. Judy will be laid to rest at Laurel Hill Cemetery.
