Sharon Corrine Coleman

Sharon Corrine Coleman, 59, passed away Monday, January 9, 2017 at her home in Des Moines.

Sharon was born August 17, 1957 in Los Angeles, California to Ronald and Eleanor (Litchfield) Coleman. She worked as a caregiver in the health care field. Sharon collected butterflies and angels and liked coloring in adult coloring books. She had a knack for repairing things and there wasn’t anything she couldn’t fix.

She is survived by her children, Tabatha Payne, Richard Hurd, and Josh Cape, grandchildren, Dillon Roberts and Devin Payne, father, Ronald Coleman, and her siblings, Daniel Coleman, Sandra Van Blair, David Coleman, and Sabrina Davis. She was preceded in death by her mother, Eleanor Coleman and her daughter, Jennifer Jean Hurd.

There will be a memorial service Friday, January 13, 2017 at 5:00 p.m. at Windsor Presbyterian Church, 6301 University Avenue, Windsor Heights, IA 50324. Memorial contributions may be brought to the service or mailed to Daniel Coleman, 1611 23rd Street, Des Moines, IA 50310.
