Erma Sapp, 84, passed away Thursday, September 22, 2016 at HCI Care Services on 56th St.
Erma was born January 12, 1932 in Ira, Iowa to Elmer and Hazel Zimmerman. She married James Sapp on April 9, 1950. The couple was blessed with five children, Jim, Danny, George, Lynda and David.
Erma is survived by her children Jim, Danny, Lynda and David; four grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Eugene; son, George; and her husband, James.
Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. Saturday, October 1, 2016 at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street followed by burial at Eaton Cemetery in Unionville, Iowa. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service Saturday at the funeral home.

Worked with your Dad at the Des Moines Water Works. Stopped by the house quite a few times when you kids were younger. Always enjoyed all the projects going on. Just wanted you to know healing thoughts are being sent your way.
