Jacqueline Collins was born April 11, 1929, in Knoxville, Iowa to Con and Inez (Brown) Robinson. She died peacefully at her home Sunday, May 1, 2016, at the age of 87.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, May 4, 2016, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m., Thursday, May 5, also at Hamilton’s, with burial at Laurel Hill Cemetery.
Jacqueline loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchild. She enjoyed watching dog racing and singing and was a member of Lee Town Assembly.
She is survived by her daughter, Pam Harmon; son, Don (Kathy) Collins; grandchildren, Dawn (Tony) Tavegia, Shawn (Phillip) Isbell, Anjie Collins, and Tracee Collins (Elgin Byron); eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and her brothers, Larry Robinson and Nick Carter.
Jacqueline was preceded in death by her parents, Con and Inez Robinson; husband, Don Collins; and her siblings, Helen Waddel, Ann Kimmel, Don Robinson, Con Robinson, Lucy Brody, and Kaye Robinson.

Im so sorry for all of you I will miss her she was such a good friend to Jerry and I. We sure shared a lot of laughs and good times. Heaven has received the best angel ever.
