Clifford Hinman

Clifford Ralph Hinman, 67, passed away on Sunday, January 31, 2016, at the VA Medical Center in Des Moines. Clifford was born on February 14, 1948, in Melrose, Iowa, son of the late Dwight Hinman and Dorothy Geyer Hinman.

Clifford graduated from East High School and is a veteran of the United States Army.

Clifford is survived by his sisters, Teddy Beard, Carolyn Kerby, and Kathryn Downs; as well as his brothers, David Hinman, Edward Hinman and Howard Hinman. In addition to his parents, Clifford was preceded in death by a sister, Wonevia Penney.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, February 6, 2016, at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue in Des Moines, with burial to follow at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will take place at the funeral home one hour prior to service time.
