Cynthia Rosander

Cindy Rosander, 67, passed away at her home Saturday, January 30, 2016.

Cindy was born April 5, 1948 in Ohio to Eugene and Juanita Conde. Following her high school graduation, she enlisted in the United States Navy. Cindy retired from the United States Post Office in 2008 after many years of service. She was a very active member of Lighthouse Community Church and enjoyed her monthly Prayer Group. Cindy also enjoyed traveling, she especially loved the mountains and beaches. Above all, Cindy was devoted to her family and loved being a grandmother.

Cindy is survived by her loving husband, Ronald Rosander; children, Philip (Dawn) West, Capt U.S. Air Force, Roger (Angie) West, Brad (Charity) Rosander and Adam (Melissa) Rosander; mother, Juanita Conde; ten grandchildren, Kyle, Mallorie, David, Rachel, Trevor, Gage, Hope, Kai, Ellie and Talan; two great-grandchildren, Veronica and Charlie; siblings, Kathy (Jerry) Hubbard, Brian (Missy) Conde and Bruce (Cathy) Conde; and a host of extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, James Eugene Conde and her brother, Dr. James Conde.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 6, 2016 at Lighthouse Community Church, 7705 Indianola Avenue. The family will greet friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, February 5th at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street. Cindy will be laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
