Norma Jean McNeeley, 71, was born April 4, 1944 in Des Moines, Iowa to James and Ione (Reasoner) McNeeley. She lived with her best friend and sister all her life, sharing her faith and her love of the Lord with all she met. She was a good Christian woman who was taken abruptly from her sister’s side on Sunday, January 24, 2016.
In addition to her sister, Jannita McNeeley, she is also survived by her cousin, Carol Thompson, and many dear and faithful friends.
There will be a small prayer service at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 3rd before Norma’s body is laid to rest beside her parents at Rising Sun Cemetery.

Nita I am so sorry for your loss. Still remember coming to see you, Norma, and your mother, with Claude and Rose when the kids were little. Norma will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you in this difficult time.
