We are so sorry for your loss and just don't have the words. I have found comfort in this poem and I hope it gives you all some measure of peace:
"I am standing upon the seashore.
A ship at my side spreads her white sails to the morning breeze
and starts for the blue ocean.
She is an object of beauty and strength,
and I stand and watch until at last she hangs
like a speck of white cloud
just where the sea and sky come down to mingle with each other.
Then someone at my side says,
" There she goes! "
Gone where?
Gone from my sight . . . that is all.
She is just as large in mast and hull and spar
as she was when she left my side
and just as able to bear her load of living freight
to the place of destination.
Her diminished size is in me, not in her.
And just at the moment
when someone at my side says,
" There she goes! "
there are other eyes watching her coming . . .
and other voices ready to take up the glad shout . . .
'Here she comes! ' "

James, Cheryl and Josh. I was devastated when I realized Justin stood for J.D. as this is the only way I'd heard him referred to. I recall how important he was to Josh. It just doesn't seem possible this has happened to your family. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers. Josh I think of you often and understand how difficult this has been for you. You were a role model for JD so please be strong for his kids now. So sorry.

Hey every-one -- we are so very sorry for your loss. I know we have not talked or seen all of you for years but we still love all of you very much. J. D. will be missed by so many people. He grew up to be a very handsome man. I will always remember him when he was just a little boy. Soft hugs and prayers for all of your family and friends. We love and miss all of you.
