Albert King

Albert (Sonny) King, 75, passed away November 30, 2015 at Methodist Hospital in Des Moines. A memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Friday, December 4, 2015 at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Altoona, Iowa, with visitation from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at the church. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Des Moines.

Albert is survived by his loving wife, Betty; his children: Bryon (Melody) King, Donnie (Teresa) King, Darlene King, and Delaina (Rob) Purcell; 15 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; his sister, Jerrie Gering; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wives: June and Pauline; his sister, Betty Lou; his niece Rosa (RJ); his parents and his grandparents.
