Donna Campbell

Donna Campbell, 75, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 2, 2015 at her home.
Donna was born July 17, 1940, in Moulton, IA to George and Daisy “Leota” (Downing) Moore. She was a graduate of Centerville High School and on September 13, 1959, she married Larry “Jack” Campbell. Donna held administrative positions in the Des Moines area and worked for over 15 years as an in-home daycare provider prior to retiring in 2002.
Donna cherished her family and loved spending time with them, especially her grandchildren. She will be loved always and deeply missed.
Donna is survived by her husband of 56 years; daughter, Deb (Tom) Beenken; son, Steve (Heather) Campbell; grandchildren, Alissa (Justin) Loew, Cole Jewell, Ashley Campbell and Nick Campbell; sisters, Shirley (Phil) Parsons and Marcella (Joe) Hayes; brothers, Charles Moore, Larry (Rhonda) Moore, Bob Moore, and Gary (Karen) Moore; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Deloris Fenton.
Visitation in honor of Donna will be held 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue in Des Moines. Services will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home followed by burial at Pine Hill Cemetery.
