Elizabeth M. Duncan, 80, passed away Sunday, June 28, 2015 at Unity Point Health Des Moines Methodist.

Elizabeth was born September 21, 1934 in Des Moines to Arthur and Eva (McCarthy) George. She enjoyed cross stitching, embroidering, playing BINGO and spending time with her family.

Elizabeth is survived by her daughter, Diane Ancell; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter, Sharon Warden.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, July 2, 2015 at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
