Lorraine (Imes) Faino, 89, died June 24, 2015. Lorraine was born in Des Moines, Iowa, February 9, 1926. She was preceded in death by her husband Gene and a son Michael. She is survived by her daughter Roxanne (Dennis) George of Boise, Idaho; two sons, Rod (Carol) of Denver, Colorado, and Brian of Portland, Oregon; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Per Lorraine's wishes, there will be a family service at a later date. Condolences to the family may be expressed at www.hamiltonsfuneralhome.com and memorial contributions may be directed to HCI Hospice Care Services at www.hospiceofcentraliowa.org.

Rod, I graduated from TRHS in 1963. You and Fred Munzenmaier used to pick me up for school when I lived off of Hickman near 63rd St. I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your dear, sweet, beloved mother. I know how difficult that can be. Be strong and of good courage. God bless you and yours.

Sorry about Lorraine's death. I have good memories of my parents and Gene and Lorraine and the Beaverdale Tigers.

I was so sorry to read of Lorraine's death. My sister Julie and I will miss our lunches with Lorraine. We had some good times. Lorraine was so nice to us when our mother died. She wrote us a very beautiful letter at that time which we still cherish. The Faino family is in my thoughts and prayers. God bless you.
