Sandra Lee Gilliam

Sandra Gilliam, 48, passed away unexpectedly on May 23, 2015. She was born June 21, 1966, in Des Moines, IA to Marsha and Donald Foster, Sr.

Sandra was always quick to lend a hand and genuinely cared for everyone she met. Spending time with her family and friends always came first. She also enjoyed gardening and taking care of her beloved pets.

Sandra is survived by her children, Dustin Gilliam, Joshua (Missy) Gilliam, and Chelsey (Mike) Crumm; grandson, Thomas Gilliam; mother, Marsha Foster; brother, Donald Foster Jr., as well as other loving family and numerous friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Gilliam; sister, Stephanie Parrish; and her father, Donald Foster.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 30, 2015, at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue in Des Moines.
