David B. Barnes, Sr., 53, died Monday, May 25, 2015 at Broadlawns Medical Center.
David was born September 9, 1961 in Norfolk, Virginia to Kenneth and Delores Barnes. He is survived by his wife, Margaret; children, Lois Cone (Daniel), David Barnes (Tabatha), Michael Barnes, Samantha Clucas, and Shawn Chappell; grandchildren, Irene Hunt, Shane Hunt, Jr., Josephine Hunt, Breanna Montoya, Brenden Barnes, and a host of extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; granddaughter, Nekeia Hunt; and brother, Dwayne Barnes. Visitation will be from 12:00 – 1:00 pm, with funeral service at 1:00 pm, Thursday, May 28 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street.
