Ernie Sudbrock

Ernie Sudbrock, 72, died Wednesday, May 20, 2015. Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., with funeral service to begin at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. Interment will follow at Avon Cemetery.

Ernie was born August 18, 1942 in Des Moines, Iowa. He was a valued employee and head of the union at Fair Play Scoreboard for many years. In his retirement, he traveled extensively and enjoyed gardening. Ernie liked to eat and have conversations with everyone. He had a lifelong love of classic rock and roll music. He was a wonderful husband and he and Annie would have celebrated 50 years of marriage on June 26th.

Ernie is survived by his wife, Annie; son, Michael (Tina); daughter, Lelani; two grandchildren; seven sisters; and two brothers. Condolences may be expressed at www.HamiltonsFuneralHome.com.
