John “Rick” DeBonis

John “Rick” DeBonis, 66, passed away Saturday, February 28, 2015 at his home in Des Moines. Rick was a proud U.S. Marine, a Vietnam Veteran, and the recipient of the Purple Heart. He is survived by his brother, Robert DeBonis. Cremation has occurred. Burial of cremated remains will take place at a later date.

I'm so sorry to hear that this happened to Rick. It was a priveledge to have him as a neighbor, he was such a great, kind hearted and always had such a positive attitude. After living next to him for 10 years it's weird and sad knowing he isn't going to be there. R.I.P Rick You will always be remembered
