Dale Shepley

Dale Shepley, 66, passed away February 27, 2015, surrounded by his family. He was born February 1, 1949, to Elwood and Lillian Shepley in Bangor, Maine.
Dale was a well-educated man who loved his family. He was a Green Beret, proudly serving his country during the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War.
Dale is survived by his wife of 25 years, Sandy; children, Tiffany Walters, Christina (Bryan) Rogers, Paul (Jennifer) Baker, Johnathan (Rosalie) Baker, and Aaron Baker; brothers, Samuel (Gaynelle) Shepley and Richard (Laura) Shepley; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 4, 2015, at Our Saviour Lutheran Church, 4003 2nd Avenue in Des Moines.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the family or the Wounded Warriors Project in loving memory of Dale.
